We’re inviting applications for studies in the following fields:
- BSc Information Technology
- BSc Computer Science / Information Systems
- Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
- BEng in Information/Data/Data Science
Whether you’re in Grade 12 or already studying one of these qualifications, this bursary could be your next big break.
Intake:
January 2026
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 Applicants:
- Valid South African ID
- Grade 11 + latest Grade 12 results
- Minimum 70% overall average
Tertiary Students:
- Enrolled at a recognised SA institution
- Minimum 60% average in core subjects
- Full academic transcript (including 2025 results)
Additional Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Willingness to do vacation work at a VKB office
- Open to relocation post-graduation for work-back obligations
