About the Role

We are offering 2 in-service trainee positions at our Westmead factory in Pinetown for candidates completing their Food Technology diploma. You’ll gain hands-on experience in Food Safety, Quality Control, Laboratory Testing, and Quality Systems—setting the foundation for a future in the food manufacturing industry.

What You’ll Learn:

Real-world exposure to food safety and quality procedures
Handling and analysis of laboratory samples
Participation in product development trials (NPD projects)
Problem-solving and decision-making in a production environment
Data analysis and reporting on quality metrics

Minimum Requirements:

Studying towards a 2-year Diploma in Food Technology
Only the 1-year in-service training is outstanding

Additional Skills & Attributes:

Computer literate (Excel/data analysis proficiency)
Flexible to work irregular hours
Strong communication and leadership potential
Able to work independently and in a team
Proactive with strong initiative
