
Campaigns & Marketing Specialist. The Nelson Mandela Foundation seeks to employ a Campaigns & Marketing Specialist to drive the execution of organisational campaigns and marketing efforts.
Key responsibilities of the Campaigns & Marketing Specialist
- Develops, executes and monitors impactful campaigns in support of communications strategy
- Aligns marketing activities with the digital strategy of the Foundation.
- Lead development of advertising material, including writing and proofreading marketing copy, as well as recruiting designers, animators and printers.
- Monitors the budget for advertising and promotional items.
- Coordinates media planning
- Develops and manages integrated marketing plans, build campaign journeys and audience mapping and organises events for all programmes of the Foundation,
- Implements the approved brand strategy and value proposition for short as well as long-term campaigns
- Creates and manages promotional collateral towards a sound institutional and programme branding
- Foster good relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies
Qualifications & experience
- Matric
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Project Management and Marketing
- Post-graduate qualification in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations will be an advantage
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in professional marketing and events environment.
Working conditions
The role is mainly office-based, with occasional local travel.
