Human Resources Coordinator. The Nelson Mandela Foundation seeks to employ a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administration support to the organisation in recruitment, employee relations, payroll and employee benefits, training and development, and legislated submissions while supporting the entrenchment and enforcement of HR policies and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities: Human Resources Coordinator

  • Coordinate all administration activities related to the recruitment and other processes
  • Coordinate all training requests, source providers and book training dates.
  • Ensure timeous submission of EE, B-BBEE and WSP/ATR reports
  • Submit annual COID for compliance
  • Submit payroll data for processing
  • Support General Counsel in labour relations matters
  • Provide NMF staff with appropriate HR information and documentation as required
  • Prepare a monthly report on employee relations
  • Arrange and organize all HR events as assigned, including team-building sessions, culture workshops and more

Qualifications & experience

  • Matric
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Administration, IT, Psychology, or Equivalent
  • Understanding of a nonprofit environment
  • A minimum of 3 (three) years’ working experience
  • Knowledge of a Human Resources Management System and its functionality

Working conditions

The role is mainly office-based.
