The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for its 24-month GEPFuture Internship Programme, running from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028. This opportunity offers real workplace experience in a professional environment and a chance to grow your skills in your chosen field.
Internship Fields and Qualifications
The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is recruiting interns in the following areas:
| Discipline | Required Qualification |
| Supply Chain Management | BTech/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain |
| Human Capital Management (HR) | N6/National Diploma/Degree in HR or Industrial Psychology |
| Investments | Degree in Investment Management, Economics, Accounting or related |
| Information Technology | National Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or related |
| Legal (Ombud) | Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) |
| Secretariat & Administration | N6/Diploma/Degree in Business Admin or related |
| Graphic Design | Diploma/Degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design (portfolio required if shortlisted) |
Who Should Apply?
You must be:
- A South African citizen aged 18–35
- An unemployed graduate with at least a 3-year Degree/National Diploma
- A candidate who has completed course work and/or requires workplace exposure for qualification completion
- Applicants with prior internship experience or formal employment in the field of study are not eligible
