Requirements
- Grade12 or equivalent qualification
- Human resource management experience will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent administrative skills (planning, organizing and coordinating)
- Sound knowledge of PERSAL system
- Computer literacy with extensive knowledge of Microsoft program (Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of legislative frameworks
- i.e., Employment Equity Act
- Skills Development Act
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act
- Public Regulations as amended and PFMA
- Ability to work under pressure
Duties
- Administer the operations and functions of human resources in the institution
- Implement conditions of service and benefits
- Implement recruitment and selection policies and procedures
- Leave administration, employee exist and maintain confidentiality
- Maintain record keeping and filing of HR documents
- Provide an audit trial for easy retrieval during investigations and audits, trace movement of files, and process documents
- Capture leave and claims on persal system and process other documents to e-government daily
- Provide accurate information/advice to all stakeholders
- Address human resource administration enquiries and able to meet deadlines
- Accept responsibilities given by the supervisor from time to time and report to the supervisor
