Role Purpose

Seeking a friendly, efficient, and well-organised Receptionist / Front Desk Administrator to deliver exceptional front-of-house service and administrative support. This role is the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional front-desk support by answering calls, taking messages, and making outbound calls on behalf of staff
  • Welcome visitors and direct them to appropriate appointments or departments
  • Manage bookings for boardrooms and visitor parking
  • Take minutes during official meetings, type, and distribute them timeously
  • Capture data from building audit sheets and maintain filing systems
  • Order and coordinate stationery supply for staff across departments
  • Receive, sort, and notify employees of incoming mail and packages
  • Send regular internal communications regarding office management matters
  • Support various departments with general administrative tasks
  • Assist in project-related administration and ad hoc assignments as required

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Senior Certificate
  • Certificate in Reception, Administration, or Secretarial Studies
  • Valid South African Driver’s Licence
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a reception, switchboard, or administrative support role
  • Trained in reception/switchboard operations in a customer-facing environment

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Accurate data capturing and typing skills
  • Meeting coordination and minute-taking
