Location: Muizenberg, Western Cape

Job Description

This position requires someone with generalist skills willing and able to perform a wide range of office and financial administration tasks. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Reception duties and day-to-day running of the office space
  • Purchase office supplies
  • Assist project staff with admin support
  • Produce receipts, quotes and invoices
  • Process payments
  • Capture expenditure and income on Sage Bank recon, petty cash and other financial admin tasks
  • Maintain production, inventory and shipping records
  • General office administration  

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Post Matric qualification in office administration, business admin, financial admin, or similar. 
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role in the nonprofit sector Experience using Sage Accounting software preferable
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • High level of computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with Google Drive, Docs & Sheets Advanced spreadsheet skills, preferred
  • Own transport preferable
  • Experience in both financial and general office administration
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication
