Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Computer literacy
- Interpersonal and Communication skills
- 1 years’ experience in similar environment
Core Responsibilities
- Preform administrative office duties for the Metering Installation Maintenance sub section
- Provide customers with first line administrative meter installation advice
- Handle first line queries relevant to existing meter installations and electrical installations
- Attend to queries from the public and other department regarding existing connections, prepayment meters, tampering, tariffs, service connections and disconnections.
- Ensure that consumer data, metering data and property data is correct on the billing and vending systems
- Utilise Business Process Management System to schedule job cards and to correct metering data for prepayment, conventional, smart and AMR meters
- Ensure that all applications are completed according to governance standards
Admin Assistant: Depot Admin & Support – ENER19234
Closing Date: 1 April 2026
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Certificate in Administration
- 2 years’ experience in an administration environment
- Diploma in Administration will serve as an advantage
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate all administrative duties of the council vehicles in the Depot
- Compile, verify and barcode all movable asset register at the Depot
- Responsible for the procurement and acquisition of goods and services
- Receive and record all incoming mail and ensure safe keeping of all files and records
- Administer EMIS and ensure that reported complaints are attended to
- Arrange meetings, take minutes and perform all administrative duties as intrusted by the Supervisor
- Perform receptionist duties at the Depot
- Update personnel files and maintain various registers
