Clicks Youth Employment Programme offers unemployed young people an opportunity to learn and gain valuable work experience in the health and beauty retail sector.
Job description
The programme consists of classroom learning and practical on the job training in a retail store. On completion of the programme, successful participants will receive a NQF 2 Checkout Operator occupational qualification.
Minimum requirements
- South African citizen.
- 18 – 29 years.
- Must have passed matric.
- Must be unemployed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and be willing to learn.
- Must not be currently registered on a Learnership or Skills Programme.
The Clicks Youth Employment Programme is a structured work-readiness initiative aimed at equipping unemployed young South Africans with practical workplace skills and a recognised qualification. The programme blends classroom-based training with hands-on work experience in a Clicks retail store.
After successfully completing the programme, participants will obtain a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 2 qualification in Checkout Operations. This nationally recognised qualification enhances employability and can create opportunities for future work within the retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
