Minimum Requirements
- A recognised academic qualification: Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate Vocational.
- Applicants must be:
- Registered tertiary students, OR
- Unemployed individuals with one or more tertiary qualifications, OR
- Unemployed graduates.
- Strong numerical skills with Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy at Grade 12 level.
- Second-year tertiary students or above will have an advantage.
- Prior experience in examinations administration (as an Examination Assistant or Quality Assurer at District Office, Marking Centre, or Office-based) will be advantageous.
- Must be able to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, control, scan, and pack scripts daily for marking.
- Verify that the correct number of scripts and mark sheets per batch, subject, paper, and examination session are accounted for.
- Resolve any discrepancies in batches, subjects, papers, or examination sessions.
- Ensure each script bag contains two copies of the MP Flow control list and is tagged with the correct colour-coded marking venue label.
- Prepare and maintain marking centre files for all scripts dispatched to marking venues.
- Assist with the dispatch and secure transfer of scripts to marking centres.
- Archive scripts systematically after marking, ensuring proper indexing for retrieval.
- Receive, control, and safely store marked scripts at Head Office for future access.
