A position has become available for a Baker to join our dynamic team, based in the Northern Suburbs – Cape Town.

Baker Job Description

The purpose of the Baker is to manufacture yeast based bakery products to quality standards according to the Bakery manager’s production plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement cyclical production plans
  • Control ingredients used in baking yeast based products 
  • Control stock
  • Hygiene & housekeeping
  • Supervise staff
  • Customers

Minimum requirements

  • Matric / NQF level 4 equivalent
  • Recognized technical qualification in yeast-based baking
  • At least 3 years baking experience

Knowledge:

  • Product knowledge
  • Production chain
  • Cold chain
  • Manufacturing process
  • Equipment handling
  • Supervision
  • Safety
  • Bakery trends
