Purpose of the Job
As an intern, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying and analysing valuable information from vast amounts of data to support business decision-making. Training will be provided to develop your knowledge of the business and industry, specific business units, systems, and technical job-related skills. Plus, you’ll enhance your professional interpersonal skills, including networking, communication, and time management.
Key Accountabilities
Problem Formulation and Solution Development:
- Collaborate with the business to formulate and develop solutions.
Analysis:
- Conduct analysis to determine trends or patterns leading to valuable business insights.
Data Preparation and Visualisation:
- Prepare data for insights and visualisation.
- Master the art of storytelling through data visualisation.
Advanced Modeling:
- Learn and use simulation modelling to find an implementable solution for a business. Engage in advancedstatistical, mathematical, simulation, optimisation, forecasting.
Advanced Analytics:
- Explore advanced analytics such as Machine Learning Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and Generative AI.
Skills
- Ability to problem-solve creatively.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in mathematical and statistical modeling.
Wishlist
- Computer programming skills (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
- Awareness of cloud environment (Microsoft Azure)
