A GRV Clerk (Pricing/Receiving Clerk) position is available at Spar, based in Blouberg, Western Cape.

Job Description

The purpose of the GRV Clerk (Pricing/Receiving Clerk) maintains Retail Systems (SS3) on an ongoing basis by performing input and reconciliation tasks; process claims; input category stock takes; and provide systems support for inventory control. 

Key Performance Areas

  • Maintain inventory data, including:
  • – Invoices
  • – Claims
  • – New suppliers / codes 
  • GRV register
  • Maintain pricing & point of sale
  • Reports including:
  • – Posting of sales
  • – End of day reports 
  • Category stock takes
  • Transfers
  • Ex – Swell
  • Hygiene & housekeeping 
  • Ordering
  • Promotions
  • Spar system 3 back ups

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / NQF level 4 equivalent with Mathematics
  • At least 2 years retail experience
  • At least 2 years receiving / merchandising experience
  • At least 1 year experience working with computers
