Data Systems Developer. Axium Education is hiring a Data Systems Developer based in Zithulele Village, Mqanduli, Easatern Cape.

Roles and Responsibilities
- The data systems developer will be responsible for designing, building, testing and maintaining Axium’s central data system, including the central database and user interfaces.
- They will need to work with Tech and Data and Assessments teams to ensure the system is robust, scalable, well documented, and can be managed by others in Axium with the relevant technical skills.
- They will need to conduct extensive testing, assist with training, and implement feedback from data capturers to ensure data can be captured easily in settings with intermittent internet connectivity.
Qualifications and Requirements
General requirements
- isiXhosa speaking and driver’s license is an advantage, but not essential.
- The successful applicant will be required to relocate to Zithulele initially. After that, partial remote work may be negotiable.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- 1-2 years experience in IT or a graduate degree(Hons/Masters) in a related field.
- Experience with app development and/or database administration will be an advantage
